They seem to have a hard time managing payments and try sending you bills from months ago that were already paid. Getting them to admit to the mistake is impossible even with proper documentation. Be careful, always keep receipts!
This place is a joke. Used to be a county park now it's run by a bunch of teenage kids who argue with eachother over the rules of the park. The young lady at the front where we paid $60 to get in said we could bring a small cooler with water. We paid stoped through the gate where another young lady who worked here was standing. She heard the whole conversation then told us we could not bring the cooler with water. Mind you I still have not entered the park asked for my money back they said no refunds. I said I didn't even come inside the park. So I was out $60 so we went in my daughter who is under two has an aprroved flotation device I was told she could not use it and I must rent theirs. This used to be a nice place to come and is now unorganized and one person tells you one thing and someone else tells you something completely diffrent. There was another family who had the same problem she was lucky and before she paid I told her she couldn't have the cooler after the lady upfront said she could. I told her they said the same thing to me then after I paid they said I couldn't and wouldn't give me my money back. She was very thankful I caught this in time as they told her she could before she paid and was waiting for her to pay before they told her no because then she couldn't get her money back. They are thieves in my opinion.
YMCA is the best place to workout, good people around good member, each time when i am at the SPA or Steam room i pray those who build YMCA and who start YMCA to serve people. God Bless
Conveniently located near Fredericksburg in Falmouth. Ample parking and plenty of ways to get your work out in. The basketball courts inside are almost always crowded, but just about everything else will be available with barely any waiting involved. The machines are a little old, but they work and get the job done well enough. The staff was always friendly. The bathrooms were never the cleanest, but they werent the worst. Their pool was a little smaller than i had hoped, and is sometimes difficult to get some laps in when every lane is taken. But the pool and its deck were always very clean. Overall, it was not worth the monthly bill, in my opinion, although i can see how it would be worthwhile for other people who are able to utilize more of their amenities.
Before and after school care team is graced with extraordinarily kind and conscientious staff. You can pay far more but will find none better. Certain stars deserve name recognition, such as the lovely Ms. Bailey and Mrs. Karla.
